But that's the thing, there's just no standard about the specs for servos... since most of the time they are built for a specific purpose for use in a specific manufacturer product (truck / plane / quad / etc.) and it assumes you're using a set of components that are usually found in the same product (ESC / Receiver / etc.).

So when we're trying to use a servo in something else, with other components... you're usually "taking a chance".
You can have a look at the www.servodatabase.com... it's kind of a wiki for servo, so if you can't find any specs on the site you're buying from - maybe someone put it in the database and you'll be able to see additional specs.
