Hi guys,
Ok when i started upgrading my blast, i didnt want to go brushless, because of all the reason you can find there: http://litehawk.yuku.com/topic/2943#.ViRFvH4veUk
Anyway after many hours and all the money i put into this buggy, well i had to make a choice
1. Buying a new a real hobby grade buggy
2. Going all the way with the blast and make it brushless.
Now buying a new buggy? The wife will be pissed
. I cant hide a new buggy lol.
Going brushless? Well with all the money i already put into it, its just make sense to kept going. Plus the wife doesnt see a new car but only some pieces coming by mail
. Yeah that a little trick, 10$ for this, 20$ for that seem ok even if at the end it cost more but i dont get yell at. Go figure the mind of a woman.
Another reason is with all the upgrade i did, the car is more heavy and that mean less speed. So i go brushless to give the buggy i little more kick, not for bashing at full trottle all the time and doing countless jumps and to be honest i really like upgrading rc car like that.
Ok so here the upgrade i will try:
1. 2845 3000KV Sensorless Brushless motor
http://www.cafr.ebay.ca/itm/high-per...item58bcc64ce0
Its cheap and probably enough power for what i need.
2. Hobbypower 60A SL V2 Tplug Brushless ESC.
http://www.cafr.ebay.ca/itm/hobbypow...item41899c1bb7
Again cheap and enough for what i need
3. Wltoys brushless circuit board
http://www.banggood.com/Wltoys-L202-L959-PRO-RC-Car-Brushless-Circuit-Board-L959-P-06-p-921566.html
Ok now i have a choice to do. If i go the brushless circuit board, i can stop there if all of these work. The problem is that i will be stock with the original servo. So since i will buy all these piecesone by one ate 1 week interval, i will buy the circuit board (it only 10$) to try if the motor and esc work and after that, i will continu the second stage.
4. Flysky FS-GT3C and receiver
http://www.cafr.ebay.ca/itm/flysky-f...item1c4b00ffa1
Ok this is optional if the above mods work but with the FS-GT3C i will be able to change the servo and the transmitter look really cool
. This is not a waste of money for me cause i can use this transmitter with other rc car.
5. Emax ES3154 Digital Mini Servo
http://www.banggood.com/Emax-ES3154-Digital-Mini-Servo-For-RC-Model-p-79263.html
For the servo, i will need this:
http://www.rpmrcproducts.com/shop/chassis-components/servo-mounting-posts-2pc/
Ok that about it, i know this brushless kit cost a lot (55$ without the transmitter or 120$ for the complete kit.) but the good side is, i will be able to use it on other 1/10 scale rc car. Well the transmiter/receiver at least. Anyway i do that for fun so its not much for a hobby. I'v seen worst
.
O yeah almost forgot i will need some reduction gears for spare.
I will post the progress, tell me what you think.
